What Is King Salmon
Also known as King Salmon, it is identified to have either a blue-green, red, or purplish color on its top part with spots mostly on its upper body and tail. It’s the largest of the Pacific salmon. It is also known to have high levels of Omega-3 Fatty Acids and other nutritional benefits.

Fishing Licensing
Salmon fishing in the Seattle area requires a fishing license for age 15+. You can purchase your fishing license online here: https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/#/login. You can also acquire one from a local licensed dealer: https://wdfw.wa.gov/licenses/dealers. Your options for a license are a Freshwater License, a Saltwater License, or a combination of both. Fishing License costs can range anywhere from $30-$84 depending on your age and residency. Click here to learn more about which fishing license is right for you. Your fishing license will come with a catch record card for tracking and submission to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW).
We also provide Fishing Licenses on our boat for your convenience at $10 per license.
King Salmon Fishing Charter
